Highly Recommend Brett & the Team at BKW Screed

We couldn’t recommend Brett and his team at BKW Screed highly enough. They recently completed a 75m² floor screeding project for us as part of our property renovation, and the service from start to finish was excellent.

As this was our first time preparing a floor slab for underfloor heating, we had plenty of questions along the way. Brett was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, carrying out a floor survey beforehand and giving us advice at every stage of our DIY preparation. He was always happy to answer questions and made sure we understood exactly what was required before the screed was installed.

Communication throughout was excellent. Brett and the team were reliable, punctual and professional, turning up when promised and completing the work to a very high standard.

Their pricing was also extremely competitive, particularly considering the level of advice, support and service we received before the job had even started.

It’s refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely takes the time to help its customers get everything right. We’re absolutely delighted with the finished floor and wouldn’t hesitate to use BKW Screed again or recommend Brett and his team to anyone needing screeding or underfloor heating preparation.

Fantastic service, great workmanship and a genuinely helpful team from start to finish. 5 stars from us!

KW Screeding Ltd did a brilliant job for us. We had a really awkward multi-level floor to deal with, but Brett and the team raised it in the first pour and then completed the final finish so the floors flowed through perfectly from room to room. Everything ended up level and finished to a very high standard, and the engineered wood went down great afterwards. Professional, reliable, and easy to deal with throughout. Highly recommended.

first class service once again! I have used BKW on numerous projects over the last 8 years, from small kitchen extensions to full ground floor screeds. latest project required a complex multi directional fall on a shower room, Brett was just the man for the job!
always gives realistic quotations and timelines, all jobs undertaken in the most professional manner and always gives a 5 star job.
Will be using again and would highly recommend.

We used BKW Screeding for our new extension in Newcastle where we had underfloor heating installed throughout the ground floor. Brett explained the whole screeding process clearly and worked closely with our builder to make sure everything was ready before pouring the liquid screed. The finish is spot on and perfectly level, ready for our flooring. The team were professional, turned up on time and left everything clean and tidy. It’s reassuring to use a company that clearly knows what they’re doing. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend BKW Screeding to anyone needing floor screeding in Newcastle or the surrounding area

Rang, discussed a little over the phone, sent a video of the job itself. Came out and finalised price, job was complete a few days later.

Nice fella, quick, and reliable. No complaints, would use again.

Brett came to look at the state of my floor after I'd had an issue with magnesite and was getting a lot of misinformation from several different sources. Brett's calm approach and his ability to listen to me explain the very stressful situation (rather than dismissing my logical reasoning which others had), gave me a lot of confidence in his professional approach. He advised me on gaining further information to get some final checks that the magnesite had definitely been taken out before agreeing to take on the job.

The work that was required took place over 3 days, Brett was very clear with his emailed quote and verbal instructions about what was going to take place on each day and drying time for each stage. He also followed this up with regular photos of each stage and kept the work space organised and tidy. His planning was very thorough and communication was excellent.

The final result is a work of art, my building site of a house has been transformed, so much so that I'm not in a rush to get the final decorative flooring in yet. Definitely would recommend Brett and his team as the whole process surpassed expectations. Thank you for all your help.

We’ve worked with Brett and his team for years now, very reliable service, knowledgeable and hands on with preparation and laying of Screeding products.
Recent photo of their works on a project with all sorts of complications including sloping floors and revolving doors.
Excellent works.

Brett was very honest and professional when he came to assess the work we needed doing,. We did not hesitate to ask him to proceed with the work. He fitted us in really quickly and came exactly when he said. He and his team just got on with the work. They were very tidy and literally no mess for us to sort, brilliant. We would not hesitate to recommend BKW Screeding Ltd.
